Equipped with a PURPOSE-DESIGNED BUFFALO BICYCLE from WBR students, health workers and entrepreneurs in low-income regions create opportunities for themselves, their families and entire communities.

Throughout many regions of the world, women and girls face cultural obstacles that limit their access to quality education, well-paid employment, quality reproductive healthcare, and property rights. According to the UN, “rural women play a key role in supporting their households and communities in achieving food and nutrition security, generating income, and improving rural livelihoods and overall well-being.”
When the COVID-19 pandemic struck in 2020, women and girls were the hardest hit, elevating the urgency to mitigate the effects of the pandemic and put them in a stronger position to rebound.
